Personal budgets were introduced in 2008 to give individuals greater control over the ways they receive support from different services.
A personal budget is a sum of money allocated by the council for an individual to spend on care such as Bridge provides.
We strive to offer real choice for all clients and some of the core services that we offer at Bridge include: support with healthy eating, paying bills, rebuilding relationships and attending appointments, but we also offer bespoke services which could include, for example, trips to museums, attending football matches, or aromatherapy courses.
